With more than two decades of sales and management experience, Kate Austin has worked in healthcare, hi-tech and hospitality settings leading sales growth and cross-departmental collaboration efforts successfully. Kate was the lead for sales training and coaching to new hire and senior sales representatives for a Fortune 25 company. She led on-boarding and training new sales trainers and audited quality and ensured 5 years of excellent training delivery.
Kate designed several sales, service, and safety programs for employees and clients including “It is my Job”, “Excellent Customer Service”, “Client Service Strategies”, “Breath Alcohol Certification”, “Sales Techniques for Strategic Selling”, “Back Injury Prevention”, “Carpal Tunnel Prevention”, “How to recognize drugs in the workplace”, “Preventing Work Comp Injuries” and “Proper Lifting”. By designing and providing tailored classes to client companies, she was able to successfully acquire over two thousand new industrial accounts and escalate physical sales by 200% and was able to double profit margins through locating and securing a laboratory.
Kate has managed client and trainer relationships in relation to training delivery with commendations from the client for flexibility and satisfactions; she has been able to accommodate the client’s requests 99.9% of the time and supported retention of senior and client-savvy consultants to enable customized delivery of client programs.
Kate was the executive in charge of coaching and developing several cross-departmental project implementation teams consisting of business development, account management, operational, and information technology specialists. Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science and was awarded the certificate for Outstanding Scholarship. She has also earned the designation of CPM (Certified Public Manager) by completing a nationally accredited comprehensive statewide management development program.
Kate has worked internationally with Dell, Catholic Healthcare West, ProMed, ION, ASD, Hoovers, Amerisource Bergen, Hilton Hotels, various State departments.
