Erin Murphy helps organizations, teams and individuals develop their capacity to lead, collaborate and change. Her passion is helping clients align around shared purpose to deliver unexpected results by fostering collaboration and agile leadership. Her core areas of expertise include leadership & team development and coaching, large group facilitation, participative change and innovation methods, change management, competency modeling and curriculum design.
In 2001, Erin co-authored "Teamwork Is An Individual Skill: Getting Your Work Done When Sharing Responsibility" (Berrett-Koehler).
With seventeen years of both internal and external human resource development experience,
- Erin is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources;
- A practitioner of Technology of Participation® facilitation methods and;
- Certified in conflict mediation through the Austin Dispute Resolution Center.
Erin has Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern University as a recognized Big 10 Scholar-Athlete. She holds a Master of Arts in Whole Systems Design with a concentration in Organization Development from Antioch University. She is a past board member of the Austin chapters of the American Society for Training and Development and International Society for Performance Improvement.
